This paper presents the early stage technology concepts of three different core systems representing Plug-and-Use (PnU) building envelope kits. The PnU kits couple the lightweight façade module concept with ecological coating materials, integrated energy systems such as photovoltaics, heating, cooling, and ventilation. The paper describes in detail technical solutions of three innovative core systems and presents real and virtual demonstration buildings.
